First and foremost, I am grateful for the blessed life I have ! It hasn’t always been easy but God has been so good to give me strength, courage, wisdom and love to make my way through life’s ups and down!

Though I come from a working class family I was fortunate to be able to attend Los Gatos schools where I studied music and languages while helping my parents build their dream home on 8 acres in Santa Cruz Mountains. I learned quickly how to tile & lay hardwood floors, paint and stain just about anything ! Motivated by a desire to travel, I started working at an early age, enabling me to travel to Canada, Mexico, the British Isles and throughout Europe at the age of 14 & 15. I attended a private university in San Diego at 17 with a scholarship, but missed Santa Cruz lifestyle too much and moved back to attend Cabrillo.

Supporting myself at 18 meant I needed to work hard wherever opportunity led me which happened to be to the world famous Shadowbrook Restaurant where I met and married my chef husband ! The food industry became a passion for me as well , eventually leading me to management of a very successful catering company in Los Gatos. 12 hour days became my norm hosting events for Villa Montalvo, Paul Mason Winery and the San Jose Symphony to name a few ! Along the way, I was blessed with 3 strapping big boys (6’4”,6’6”, & 6’8”) who are such a gift and have truly taught me what hard work is !!! Boys need space so we moved the fam to a 1/3 acre rebuilt cabin home in the charming mountain community Ben Lomond. It was there that I developed my love for remodeling, gardening, koi ponds and photography. Our boys all live nearby so we get to enjoy their lives and our 7 grandchildren!

As my children went off to pursue higher education, and with my construction background, extensive area knowledge and family of Realtors (Grandmother started Mission Viejo in So Cal ),my dream was always to become a full time Realtor.

Real Estate was the natural choice for me !

I started my Real Estate career with Century 21 where I learned a classic old-school approach to Real Estate requiring mentoring by successful Real Estate veterans, and instruction on how to be proficient in every aspect of a Real Estate transaction. Always striving to improve my knowledge and skills offered, I became a triple designated agent meaning I have achieved (beyond the normal Real Estate license ) the GRI , Senior Real Estate Specialist, and Santa Cruz County Pro status all through advanced Real Estate education.

20+ years serving my Real Estate clients, I am happy to be a successful Real Estate Professional passing 150 transactions which have canvased all areas of this beautiful county, as well as,in our neighboring Santa Clara,Monterey,& San Francisco counties. Over ½ of those sales were as a List agent, helping Sellers to present their properties in their highest and best light. Staging professionally and knowledge of designing for sales impact, has been an important distinction I offer above most agents. Having lived and worked in the rural communities of Santa Cruz for 40+ years I have a lot of experience with rural mountain properties which requires an ability to work with septic,well, & the challenging environmental issues unique to these types of property. For 7 years I enjoyed a second home on a commercial boat at the Santa Cruz harbor where I have developed a whole new sphere of neighbors and friends! As a Buyers Agent and long time resident , I am thankful for the diversity of our beautiful county and the opportunity to sell all types of property everything from “first time home buyer Fixers” to Oceanfront Luxury !

I am deeply committed to giving back to my community. It has been such a joy to have served 25+ years as a Sunday School teacher, and continue to financially support and work with the local homeless, as well as, serving internationally in a mission capacity to the at-risk, addicted and refugee peoples in Mexico and Thailand. Because of their same shared passion and work values , I choose to hang my license at the Anderson Christie Real Estate brokerage, a team of professionals who are truly inspired and successful at making a difference in the local community, as well as, creating a new direction for the Real Estate industry !
